Devoted to music since the age of ten, Adam Hall is now an accomplished Trumpeter, Vocalist and Composer who has worked with numerous talents such as: James Morrison, Don Burrows and Vanessa Amorosj, to name just a few. The versatile musician tours Europe and various cities including Boston, New York, New Orleans and Los Angeles. Jamming alongside Adam Hall are The Velvet Playboys that promises captivating live performances with their slick presentation and raw energy! We have Mark Turner on guitar, Anthony Dodos on trombone, Bronton Ainsworth on drums, Kate Pass on double bass and Adrian Galante on keys.
The band’s repertoire is rooted in the Jazz and Rhythm & Blues music of the 40’s and 50’s, from artists such as Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, Louis Prima, Sammy Davis Junior, Harry Connick Junior, Jackie Wilson, Chuck Berry and The Blues Brothers.
Adam Hall & The Velvet Playboys’ was nominated for Best Jazz Act in the 2010 West Australian Music Industry Awards.
